In-Store Cash Deposit Limits
In-store cash deposits are processed through our banking partner’s nationwide Green Dot Bank eCash loading network. These limits keep deposits secure, compliant, and predictable across more than 12,000 supported retail locations. Review the limits below so you always know what to expect before making a deposit.
Minimum Deposit Amount
Every participating store supports a minimum deposit of $20. Any amount below $20 cannot be processed at the register.
Transactional Limits
These limits apply to each individual cash deposit you complete at a participating retailer.
- Minimum deposit: $20 per transaction
- Maximum deposit: $500 per transaction
- Some locations may allow up to $1,000 depending on store policy
- Each deposit must be processed as a separate transaction at the register
Account Limits
These limits apply to your entire Crypto Dispensers account across all supported retailers combined.
- Daily limit: $1,500
- Weekly limit: $3,500 (maximum 12 transactions)
- Monthly limit: $5,000 (maximum 20 transactions)
Store-Level Limits
Each retailer also operates with its own internal cash-handling policies. These controls ensure safety at the store level and are monitored directly by the Green Dot cash-loading network.

- Stores may temporarily pause deposits if they reach their internal limit
- Store limits reset automatically according to each retailer’s cash-management schedule
What to Do If a Store Declines Your Deposit
If a cashier says they cannot process your deposit, it is almost always due to store-level cash limits—not your barcode and not your Crypto Dispensers account. These limits vary by location and are not controlled by us.
Simply choose another participating retailer and try again. Deposits typically process smoothly at nearby stores.
